February 25, 2003 ACF MINNEAPOLIS CHAPTER MEETING

Meeting was called to order at 7:55pm

All officers present except Steve Schuster. Committee Reports fund raising Jeff La Beau 200 tickets at 100.00. We do 50/50 split four-course dinner Faribault golf and country club. J L Chair sixteen chefs to help May 17th 2003 Silent auction dinner money for chef and child. Romance in Mpls. 10,000. plus.

Junior members report Robin Johnson fund raisers March 25th and 26 at HTC north Buffet dinner.

Need help with catering on April 26 buffets in Bell Plain MN. Lynn Hines junior Knowledge bowl Team is

Going to the regional and on March 6th they did a dessert buffet for Jeff LaBeau and raised 300.00 dollars.

Certification Carlo has 10 packets site in Minneapolis still in question. Practical test are given at regional and national only. The following are up for awards Jeff LaBeau regional chef of year, Tom Berg chef Professionalism, Chuck Duberstein Life time Achievement Award and Carlo Castagneri for Educator of the year. Up show recap competition Andy Anderson Fish 3 silver 4 Bronze in the pork 2 silver 3 bronze

Under beef 1 gold 2 silver 3 bronzes. Nothing under old or new business . Scot made a motion to adjourn
