ACF Minneapolis Chapter monthly meeting was at Ear Brown Heritage Center and our host for the evening was Todd Sommer. This evening meeting was pot luck with everyone bringing something they like.

The meeting was called to order by our president Frances Jedneak at around 6pm with a Greeting and thank you to Todd Sommer for hosting our meeting. The Main topic of the meeting was all about our upcoming event Romance in Bloomington. Rob Yount and Steven Venne chairing the event. Tom Berg was asked to speak for them due to a conflict in their schedule and they could not attend this evenings meeting. Tom starts out by asking everyone for Donations for the silent auction which is a big part of this event. Those members that are having a display gave Tom the size of table space needed and any power request. Setup time will be after 4pm we will open doors with a slow start at 6:30 serving until 9:00pm. Entertainment will be playing starting at 6:30 till 9:00 PM.

The request came on the floor that everyone displaying that night wears chef attire for the event Romance in Bloomington. This meaning Chef Coat and either cooks check pants or all black slacks. Chef hats which Steve Schuster offered and will supply for everyone.

Romance will be at the Airport Marriot Bloomington 2020 East 79th Street Bloomington, MN. 55425 those members that are participating are being asked to prepare appetizer size portion for and estimated 400 serving.

Frances presented two awards at the meeting one went to Mark Carey with a public Relations award and the second award went to Jacob Bungee the above and beyond the call of duty award.

This year the Hospitality MN – UPS Show will be February 22 – 24, 2004. Contact Chef Andy Anderson if you are interest in competing in any of the competitions or culinary art saloon.

The 2006 central regional conference is on hold pending a meeting with the national board which will be held in January of 2004. A motion was made to adjourn by chuck Duberstein and seconded by mark good. Meeting adjourned at 8:24 PM.
