| --The meeting was called to order at 8:10 PM. It was held at the Faribault Country Club. -- We would like to thank Jeff LaBeau and Chris Dwyer for hosting the meeting. -- We would like to thank the Junior team from the Cordon Bleu for making the food tonight. We would also like to congratulate them on placing 1st in the Hot food competition. The will be representing Minnesota at the Regional Conference in April in Michigan. --Board Members present: Andy Anderson, Chris Dwyer, Jim Lund, Rob Yount, Jeff LaBeau, Mark Good, Bruce Schafer, Tom Berg, Lorraine Howard. --Self introductions were made. --The educational part of the meeting was on the recent junior competition. -- There were no minutes or treasurers report read. --OLD BUSINESS: --The event at Rosemount was a huge success. The money is still coming in. We hope that this will become an annual event and that more chefs will get involved. --Finance Vice Chair, Jim Lund is currently working on a budget so that we as a large, growing chapter can be aware and involved in the financial progress of our chapter. -- Rob Yount is working on a new sign in sheet for meetings. --The by-laws are being read tonight for the third and final time. A motion was made to accept the by-laws this evening as read. Accepted by Chuck D., seconded by Jeff L. The motion has been approved. The by-laws can be read online at www.minneapolischefs.20m.com, soon. --The March meeting will be held by R&W Foods at the Holiday Inn in Burnsville on March 27th. --The newsletter will be online now. The web site will be update 2 weeks after each months chapter meeting. If you have any info you would like to see or add to the site. E-mail chefjim1@msn.com. If you do not have an E-mail address you can get a copy of the minutes at the next meeting. --It seems the Taste of the Nation is dead for now but there may be a new and exciting event coming to take it's place. Stay tuned for more details. --We would like to congratulate Eric baker and TK for placing 1st and 3rd in the fish Cook off at the Up show. Way to go!! -- A motion was made to adjourn the meeting.
