General meeting called to order by Sergeant at Arms- Chris Sturzl

No new members at this time.

 

Motion to except the Minutes- Carlo Castagneri C.E.C, C.C.E, AAC and Frankie Jedneak C.E.C.

Minutes-Chris Dwyer C.E.C. states that the minutes are not posted but are here for anyone to review.

Secretary Justin Given states minutes are here for review.

 Chris Dwyer asks for committee reports: 

Fund raising Committee:

Carlo Castagneri talks about the fundraiser at the Holy Child Hood Church. Which will be on April 26th 7:00Pm the cost is $100/ticket and the profits will be a 50/50 split with the church. So far there are 175 people signed up. Anyone that wants to help out should contact Carlo. We are also working on another fundraiser with MN Link which will be October 11 or the 18th.

 Membership Committee:

Nothing new to state.

 

Student/Junior & Scholarship/Sponsorship Committee: Steve Shuster says that there is a scholarship program in place.

 Certification: Chris Dwyer states that the practical exam is scheduled for Monday May 5th at Hennepin Technical College, Brooklyn Park.

Correspondence Committee: Justin Given and Chris Dwyer. “Nothing New”

 

Website: Chris Dwyer states, “The website is completed, go check it out.”

 

Are You Really ACF- David Eisenreich and Pat Conway.

Pat Conway talks about the regional conference and tells everyone that the chapter achievement award will be displayed at Art Institute.

 

Competitions- Chris Dwyer thanks Kathy Johnson for the print out of the chapter’s business cards, also thank you Chris Sturzl for gathering the information for the booth. The junior team won silver medal 5th out of 11 great job.

 Chef and the Child: Chris Sturzl and Mark Good thank everyone for the help at kids Café this past month. We are losing chef Michael from Cub foods, he is moving to Chicago. Chris Sturzl thanks Michael for all the hard work he has done for our chapter. Kids Café is going to be having a celebration party on Mach 10th, contact myself

By-Laws and Elections- Tom Berg, election year is coming up at the end of the year, so keep in mind who you would like to vote for.

 

AAC- Tom Berg and Carlo Castagneri. Nothing new to state.

 

Historian- Frances Jedneak and Steve Schuster. Nothing new to state.

 

Old Business- Justin Given C.C.C., states that the regional conference was a great show. There was many new things at the show and was the best conference yet. Congratulations to the AI team for getting a silver medal.

 

New Business- “Ray Clark makes an announcement that on May 4th-6th there will be a competition recognizing the contributor’s and will be divided into 5 categories. So if you’re interested in competing contact myself.”
