Guest Speaker: Sarah from Psp is no longer with Psp and is with American Heart Association in Minneapolis. She talked about February 1st will be "Go Red" which means that everyone should wear red to support 1 out of 3 women will die of heart disease. Then she talked about the National Program which will involve 12 chefs creating a heart themed meal and as it gets closer she will tell a bit more about it.
Sharon Gillsrud talks about the Pastry Seminar.
The Pastry Professionals Association is proud to provide an educational experience with instructors that are known for their expertise in the field so chefs can receive the additional training they want. Pastry Seminar 2008 will be held Sunday, March 30 through Tuesday, April 1, 8AM to 5 PM at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Each day's schedule includes two - 4 hour classes with optional evening demonstrations.

Fund raising Committee:
Carlo Castagneri talks about the fundraiser at the Holy Child Hood Church. Which will be on April 26th 7:00Pm the cost is $100/ticket and the profits will be a 50/50 split with the church. Anyone that wants to help out should contact Carlo.
Membership Committee:
Invite new people to the meetings. Contact Vice President Jim Lund for information on hosting meetings if you're interested.
Student/Junior & Scholarship/Sponsorship Committee: Steve Shuster says that there is a scholarship program in place. Jim Lund reminds everyone that there will be a practical exam up at North Hennepin Technical College on February 23rd.
Correspondence Committee: Justin Given and Chris Dwyer. "Nothing New"

Are You Really ACF- David Eisenreich and Pat Conway.
We will be getting an award in Kansas and Justin Given as excepted to receive the award for the chapter.
Competitions: Good luck to the Jr. Team down in Kansas on February 9th and 10th.
Chef and the Child: Chris Sturzl and Mark Goode thank everyone for the help at kids Café last year. The sign up for 2008/2009 will be sometime in March. It sounds like next years General Mills is going to sponsor us again, for the child hunger day.
